We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Deal Structuring. This Role is eligible for a Hybrid work. arrangement. 

The Opportunity: 

The primary focus of the Senior Manager, Deal Structuring is to work with our sales teams to oversee deal structuring processes from inception to final credit approval and closing. The incumbent works closely with the sales teams and clients, acting as a resource that ensures deals are structured according to industry standard credit risk practices and advocates for sales with credit depts. at our lender partners, while keeping an eye on growth opportunities. The Senior Manager, Deal Structuring also plays a key role in developing organizational credit knowledge and building relationships with lender partners. The Senior Manager, Deal Structuring also oversees our Credit Teams, ensuring a sales-focused, efficient operation that adheres to credit fundamentals and works with our sales teams to ensure the best outcomes for our customers, our lender partners and RBFS.

In this role you’ll:

  • Credit Team Management: Oversee the functioning and performance of the Credit team to ensure KPIs are being met and the team is effectively supporting the business.
  • Deal throughput and cycle time: Ensure that deals move through the approval process efficiently, with a focus on reducing cycle time.
  • Portfolio quality: Monitor portfolio quality and risk metrics to ensure that time is being spent on “winnable” deals.
  • Revenue growth: Identify and pursue growth opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Funding conversion rate: Measure and optimize conversion rate for approved deals, from approval to successful funding, demonstrating ability to effectively close deals.
  • Client satisfaction: Ensure that clients are satisfied with the deal structure and the level of service provided by the company.
  • Organizational credit knowledge: Develop and implement strategies to increase organizational credit knowledge.
  • Lender partner relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with chief credit risk personnel at lender partners to promote collaboration and cooperation.

Here’s what you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in commerce, finance or accounting disciplines
  • Prior experience with financial statement analysis and accounting software programs
  • Prior experience managing teams 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation and mediation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent risk analysis skills
  • Ability to work through complex situations and yield solutions
  •        Minimum three (3) years with a lending background (Equipment Finance)

Individual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.  
Based on the national average, the anticipated base salary range for this role is $113,400 - $141,800 per year.
